Doing Business As D/B/A Trademark protection

We are considering personal BK (7 or 13) and we own an S Corp in Florida.

Our S Corp has a fictious name and that D/B/A has been tradmarked and is owned by the S Corp.

Question: Will the Trustee try to take my Trademarked D/B/A. The S Corp has very little if any assests. Should I transfer the trademark either to myself or someone close to me? How long is the look back for this kind of transfer?

Did I accidentally do a good thing by trademarking my D/B/A since I don't want to loose my business and everyone know us by our trademarked D/B/A

Thanks

Dwindle, it's against our forum rules to post duplicate theads in different forum areas, so I deleted your second thread asking these identical questions that you posted in the General Bk area.

This forum rule is is place because you'll get more and better responses in one single thread where everyone can see all the other member responses to your questions. Thanks!

Do you really think your D/B/A name is worth anything when separated from your business itself?

As in someone would pay money for it, not just that it has a good reputation in the market.

I agree and understand that it should not be worth anything. My question is, though, will or can the Trustee take that from me if they think it is worth something. You see, it is not what I think that matters.
