not sure about foreclosure with BK help??

Ok So I'm going to file chap. 13. I own my home and was very unware that my 1st and only loanwas a horrible deal bought house at 123K and it was only work about 89K at the most, from wha tI hear it's going to take about 3-4 yrs to be able to buy another home if I walk away from my house w/ foreclosure and incluse it in the bk...is there anyway to avoid the foreclosur eso Idont have to wait to long to buy another home?

If you want to keep the home and if you can continue the payments, then you won't go into foreclosure. Filing BK doesn't mean lenders will automatically foreclose the loan. If you can not keep up the payments, then that's when the home is usually surrendered and included in the BK. Unforetunately, when you surrender the home (or do a DUI), the lender still has to foreclose, so in a sense, the home is foreclosed, BUT your credit report DOES NOT reflect the foreclosure. It will simply list the home as included in BK.

I don't really want to keep the home because it was a really bad laon to start, but I didnt know that until afterward..of course. What is a DUI?
