Will paying SL after discharge help raise credit score?

Now that I am officially discharged as of 9/1/09 :yahoo:, my only debt that remains is my student loans that I need to start repaying again. Will just paying this off for the next few years with no new credit raise my credit score back to where it once was? :unsure:
