Anyone Out There Been Through a Foreclosure???

Has anyone out there been foreclosed on? Did you get a notice when the judgement of foreclosure was approved by the court? I would like to know if I will get something in writing when the court approves the foreclosure or if the redemption period has already started.

Once the court grants the judgement of foreclosure will I get something in writing? Lender is GMAC.

I am in Wisc. The court date for judgement of foreclosure was set up for 7/6/09. I haven't heard anything from anyone.

Wondering whether it was postponed?

You should get served, either in person or a certified letter. Also, legal notices should be published for at least 3 weeks.
