OK, I know this might be screwed up, but here goes
I filed 2 years ago, got rid of a lot of unsecured debt but kept my 1-2 Mortage and my auto by reaffirming..wife did not file
This year she has filed...getting rid of more debt, but still plan on keeping house with 1st and 2nd mortage.
I am 3 month behind on my 2nd and only 1 month behind on my first, but my question is this
When I was in BK, even though I was keeping my car I did not make a payment on it the whole time(about a year) and did not get a letter or anything. When my BK was up, the statement started coming again just like time had stopped(except for that pesky loan amount thing)
Will this happen again on my Mortage?...Since my wife has filed I have not gotten a statement...My reason for asking is if so I could take this time to catch up my power bills(ELEC-and gas is quite large) ton of medical bills(all in my name and after I was discahrged) and get all my other bills paid off, once she is discharged I can go back to making my normal payments...any thoughts?
Plan on keeping house we owe about 240$ on it, my value puts it at 300$ in old days, not sure what it is worht now but hate to give up appox 50K if the market turns around in a year or two.
