Delay tactics in a non-judicial state?

First a bit of an apology, I know I've posted "similar" versions of these questions.

My first missed payment was 2 weeks ago. Sept 5 will be +30. The house is IIB -discharged, and I'll move out...I just want to *delay* as long as possible to save $$.

I just found out Michigan isn't "judicial", and they just use some form of "strict posting of signs, and documentation".

So, I assume my planned tactic of waiting for a court filing and jumping in with contesting arguments won't work?

I've read that I might be able to intervene in court at "the point of sale", but honestly I don't know if that means sherriff sale or final sale...and wouldnt know when the correct time to intervene is.

Have any of you tried to delay in a non-judicial state?

I'm about to start calling attorneys, do you think many would be willing to help me do this?
