Question about the MEANS Test - I'm single (Missouri) and have a gross income of appx $4216.00 per month - my net is $2934.00. I have to much income to automatically file for Chapter 7. After I figure just my needed monthly expenses (from what I've read about) it appears that I have about $550.00 left. With all of the CC payments that I make - I am way in the hole. My CC debt is about $62,000.00- about $1600.00 per month. Also - I have car payment (320.00) and a mobile home payment (322.84) along with pad rent(320.00). Is it still possible for a Chapter 7 filing?

$550 is too much DMI (disposable monthly income) to qualify for a CH7. I'd ask if you are sure you included all of your monthly expenses, but $550/month left over is quite a bit and any missed small expenses will likely not make a difference.
Have you spoke with an attorney yet? The only way you'd be able to file for a CH7 is to get your DMI down to around $100 or less.CH7 Filed 2/26/2009 (no asset)
