Sued by atty for capital 1, no affidavit?

I was finally served on the suit from capital one. Local attorney. Pretty generic complaint, but nothing showing that he has been retained by Capital One to persue the suit....it is also called a "COMPLAINT CONTRACT"....anyone heard of that? I was sued by Citi and they included and affidavit from a Citi employee. Nothing here. I was going to just send a general denials and affirmitive defense letter......
