After checking my credit reports after discharge of my chapter 13, I noticed that one of the claiments included in the discharge charged off my debt to them, and it is listed as such on my credit report. Although they did not receive any money in the plan-most was used to pay back taxes-they were included in the plan-can I dispute the charge off? also, one of the other reporting agencies still show state tax liens even though all of those taxes were paid in the 13 plan. I only have one discharge of lien notice, and am calling the state tax agency to see if I can get copies of any others, can I dispute these as well?

All you need to do is dispute the items with the credit reporting agency with which they are listed. Include a copy of your creditor matrix showing the creditor (you can black out other creditor information on that page if you wish) and enclose a copy of your discharge paper. You will need to do all this via snail mail and it will take several weeks.
The same with the tax liens...send the letter to the credit reporting agency and copy the state tax agency so that the information can be corrected and listed properly._________________________________________

Thanks, that is what I am planning to do. I need to get copies of my credit report through snail mail as well apparently. The free website won't give it to me...I will be spending a day on the phone soon talking to them all to find out exactly what i need to send them to get my free credit report.
