The Friday after Thanksgiving has been dubbed "Black Friday" due to retailers hoping to rake in so much in sales during the holiday season that they will be printing in "black" ink vs. "red" ink of showing losses.
If you google "Black Friday" you can get advance info/fairly accurate guesses or leaked info an many of the major stores and consider your purchases ahead of time rather than waiting for the Thursday newspaper.
Interestingly enough, WalMart has decided that rather buck the trend, that they have published their "Fri. only" sales on their website already. Need a 12 cup coffeemaker for $4.99 or a notebook computer for under $400?
If you have some money and like to research these tyoe of sales, google "Black Friday" or go to WalMart's website.
Personally, it's not much help to me, since I don't get paid till the 1st, but thought some of you here might find it helpful. Art
