Lets get back to the basics

I hope the mods don't mind me posting this, as I think it is worth stating. I won't have my feelings hurt if this is deleted though.

Lately, some threads have been hijacked and turned into a back-and-forth argument/debate that does nothing to help anyone about bankruptcy. Lets all stop posting replies to you-know-who, as the mods have addressed that situation on a permanent basis.

Lets get back to discussing bankruptcy questions & situations, and let that era slip into the past and be forgotten.

Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

oh yeah sure. i was the one that first told you not to reply to the freak. and you couldnt stop. then you argue back and fourth with me like you are always right (which you are usually always right, but thats not the point) then you send me pictures and make me look at your victoria secret nightgown when i dont want to... you think that doesnt clog up the bk postings? you are gonna have to take blame on this one for all of us.
Im not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!

No offense taken...hopefully attitudes, and the forum's atmosphere improves now that I have banned a member that is known for instigating flames.

Hey, I thought part of the reason for this forum is to vent. If he can vent so can I. We all like it or we would ignore him. Some are better at ignoring him than others, but SOONER OR LATER, we all respond back. Maybe it is a touched nerve or whatever.
He doesn't "eat my lunch" so to speak. We aren't going to change him. He won't let us ignore him. So loosen up your typing fingers and let the games begin.
Remember - he is not the only one that causes threads to go haywire in directions.
I personally enjoy coming to the forum for the wide variety of opinions and answers. He only says what alot of other people in society would say if they knew or if given the chance. They are only words. Another trait that bankruptcy produces besides patience is a thick skin.
Staci - not knocking what you said but I went back to several of the threads and you gave as good as you got. Whats the harm? Sure, tact is not in his vocabulary or his dictionary and I wish he would present his ideas and thoughts in a more "helping" way. It takes all kinds to make the world go round.
I'll be watching, you may never know when or how, but I'll be there. I am there now....

I'm not denying that. I like to debate, and in any large group there will be differences of opinion and that is ok. We all gain from those discussions. Regarding you-know-who, I guess its a bit like driving past a bad accident on the highway. You don't really want to see anything gory, but you can't help but look.

I just feel bad for the people that made posts asking for help/insight, only to have the thread turn into something else.

Debate is GREAT - but if it gets out of hand - the purpose of this forum of helping people thru bankruptcy is LOST!

Newbies may not understand our verbal debate with one another, especially if they are looking for support or help, or questions regarding bankruptcy.

After a while, then they realize many of us are venting - and releiving stress due to bankruptcy frustration.......

                  Yes, back to basics again,

                  Minny

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

                      Okay aoccc,

The hint about "flirting" on this forum.......well, seldom happens, we are too depressed to flirt much.....besides it good for the soul......

Who that is directed at - could be a number of us!!

This is the General Talk section of the forum.

This is where we laugh, talk about other topics other than bankruptcy, and check on each others family lives (if we desire too) Some people have other issues that tie directly into bankruptcy.....

We here try to help "lighten" the load so too speak.

If you have a specific bankruptcy question, then direct it to the category on the forum to which it applies - Bankruptcy News, Chapter 7, Chapter 13, or our Catagory 2 Section which covers many areas of Collections.

Yes I agree, often the original post does often get off on another road, but we try to come back too it also.....
We try to leave no question unanswered if we can..... everyones questions are important, no matter how large or small they may seem.

We all try to be good natured in our respnses, humor is good for the soul, especially is you are feeling down.....

                      My thoughts on the subject,

Art-haven't you heard that you're not supposed to lie? Shame on you! I haven't owned anything from VS in YEARS so I know those photos didn't come from me.

Now, if you & Bkfiler are secretly sending scantily clad photos of yourselves to each other, THAT should be kept a secret.

I wouldn't call "it" flirting. I don't take offense and I hope no one else does either.
This is the only place except with my husband, (he refuses to discuss it since the discharge). So, it is nice to have someplace to vent and share with, thats why I keep coming back. (hate to admit but i miss you-know-who, he was a pain in the butt, but great for a good argument and occassional rise in the blood pressure.
I'll be watching, you may never know when or how, but I'll be there. I am there now....
