    341 done, yes!!!

Thing were very backed up and one forgot his SS card and one couldn't remeber reading or signing any of the BK paperwork. He stated he was intimate with his finances however.

    About 6 questions were asked.
    Did you read and sign.
    Did you inherit anythin.
Did you pay anyone over 600 90days prior.
Did you get a return last year and what will it be this year.
    Are your statements accurate.

Some cashed in all their accounts the day before filling and stated they didn't know where the money went, or even remember doing so. The trustee tried to get 1 pool table and 2 motorcycles as I waited. I was worried I would loose mine.
I was grilled on how I arrived at the value of our house, how I valued my 5 rifles, and what type of work I did that only paid $600 a month. He questioned a little on my refund, but just all of a sudden stated, that's it, your done.

Sounds like I'm in the clear and was surprised my motorcycle went untouched.

I think my attorney must have been the key in preparing my forms as It went well. The folks who the attorney requested extra forms before the 341 had the most trouble. These guys had higher income and had odd transactions before the 341. I sold a bike and cashed in some investments and wasn't even asked about it.
Was a tough day and I guess it's 60 days and counting, right?

Forgot, he asked about my upcoming refund, I stated that it might be small as I made so little, and he asked no more. The others were told it was part of the BK estate if over 1K or so. He asked some about property tax refunds, but anything after their filing date wasn't even questioned.

At first, I thought you posted that someone said they were intimate with their fiance and I couldn't understand why that was relevant at a 341 meeting...

It boggles my mind that people go into BK not knowing what they're doing, and trusting it all to be handled by their attorney. The truth of the matter is that those of us here are the minority. Sad...

Congratulations-now you can register w/ the 60 Day Club. You may visit the Discharged Club to learn your way around. You'll be a member before you know it!
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

That's funny StaciMM I read it the same way and wondered the same thing but I do see now that it said finances.

LOL, me too. Wondered what that had to do with the 341 and I was going to add that we were intimate after the 341 because we were so glad it was over but then I realized the post wasn't really about intimacy at all!! (just kidding)

Anyway, congrats and go join the 60 day club, it's a fun place if you can put up with bkfiler's face!
