Got my Discharge Letter in the Mail today

Things happen fast in our neck of the woods. Now if I just would have included that nasty Pacer bill in my petition

I'm not leaving but I want to say thank you to everyone here for all the help advice that you gave directly or indirectly through other posts. I knew nothing and felt like a total loser when I came to this site.

I now feel really cool and cocky because so much of bkfiler has rubbed off on me from reading his posts. LOL

No seriously, coming here gave me back my inner dignity and helped me to realize that hit shappens... and it did ... and I took care of it.

Plus you taught me all about Pacer and I now know lots of personal stuff about other people.. ha And they know more about me than I would like for them to know if they study Pacer like I do! Somehow, none of that matters anymore. I would post it on the front page of our local newspaper to have the peace of mind that I have found here. (wouldn't make much of a story though)

But thanks to all of you guys...... really.

I know that elation that you are feeling. My favorite part of all this is that I can answer my phone without looking at caller id.
I love Pacer too. I have looked at quite a bit myself just being nosy. I also have looked at the criminal side of things too, because of work.
Don't leave us here, the fun is just beginning.
I'll be watching, you may never know when or how, but I'll be there. I am there now....

Mine came yesterday-it was the same as what printed off from Pacer. I'm thinking that it SHOULD be the last thing to come in the mail from the BK court. (Not that I've been worried about what my mailman thinks.)

Will there be a letter or at least a Pacer entry on when the case is closed. I would certainly assume so. Is there a standard time frame for the case to close??? I say standard, as in not what poor Minny endured.

Jennga-I don't think there is a set answer. Mine was discharged and closed on the same day, others take longer. It probably depends on the district.

Pink-call again next week. When you reach someone, be sure and mention that you called this week. If they don't volunteer, ask if they can enter it.

Congrats! Now, look for "Case Closed", "Dismissal of Trustee" etc... In my case the Trustee extended certain objections beyond the Discharge, 97% chance it DONE for you though.

I still check Pacer every once in a blue moon, just to make sure the boogeyman is gone for good.
