    Am I out of the woods at all yet...???

    Hey, I had my 341 on December 19th. So, the creditors have almost had 30 days for objections. Would they have already been in contact with the court or my attorney by this point if they were going to try to rock the boat?

    I am not too concerned about the trustee, because I have no assets that aren't covered by exemptions, and certainly don't have any money hid in the backyard or anything...

    I am starting to feel good, that this is going to go off without a hitch, but am I giving myself false hope?

    yes you are feeling good with false hope. {{{}}}

    but hey! you aint got no proof yet that anything is going to happen! so be happy!

    creditors will start contacting your attorney anytime after the 341 usually and up until the week or 2 before the discharge. the US Trustee doesnt say squat it seems until the last day.
    Im not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!

      There is a good chance that creditors would contact your attorney, to try to work something out, before filing an objection.
      Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

        Ok... 30 more days then....

        Darn, I was really hoping that creditors would have already started coming out of the woodwork if they had something to say...

          HopeinHorizon,
          The creditors don't come out of the woodwork, they make deals with their Trustee, who then shows his A*****......
          Be patient, you probably have nothing to worry about, excepting waiting out the 60 day period....
          If there were any objections your attorney would probably already be calling you.
          Just hang in there,

          My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
