Sim-Staci Update

For those of you who want to know but are too embarrassed to ask!

Sim-Staci & Aiden are still living together, but no longer romantically involved. I guess you could say they are roomies for the sake of the child-Avery is now a teenager and is excelling at school. She has already earned college scholarships for good grades and high creative skills.

Aiden adopted a child on his own-her name is Caryl. She is a little younger than Avery, and is also doing well in school. She will be a teenager soon. Most likely, Avery will defer college for a little while so they can attend together. That way, Avery can also work on other skills and earn even more scholarships. Perhaps earning enough so that Avery & Caryl can rent their own place, rather than living in the dorm.

Sim-Staci met & married Count Sinjin, a vampire she met downtown at a nightclub. They have 2 daughters together. Devane is a toddler and Sage is still an infant. The Count wants more children-his lifelong goal is to have 6 kids grow up and get married. Sim-Staci would like to devote more time to her career in the paranormal, so more kids are not likely for the couple. Since Sim-Staci decided not to become a vampire, she will become an elder soon, and will die of old age eventually. Count Sinjin will live on-see his children have children of their own, etc. Some day, he might even remarry and have another shot at fulfilling his lifelong goal.

Forgive me for being dense...

but can you explain the Sims stuff? I know I have a 7 year old & 9 year old but I have no idea what this is?

Its a game. Started with the Sims and now there is a version called Sims 2. Not sure when it first came out, but it has been at least 5-7 years. Sims 2 came out sometime in 2004 I think-I got it for Christmas that year. Every now and then, they make an expansion pack-adding new items and new aspects to the game.

Its kind of like living a virtual life thru a SIM, LOL. Sims have needs (hunger, bladder, hygience, energy, comfort, social, fun, and environment). You have them get a job, make friends, take care of their basic needs. Develop skills to get job promotions, which means more money to buy more stuff.

she needs to learn how to talk, dance, draw, make things, bake, say "yes sir" to men, know when to bow when the husband walks in from work, etc.

Sim-Staci broke up with him. Then, he got mad at his girlfriend (Trisha) because he influenced her to flirt with Count Sinjin, and got mad/jealous when she did.

PS-have upgraded the house. Its no longer a 1 bedroom / 1 bath home. Its up to 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. Avery & Caryl share a room, and Count Sinjin has his own room w/ a coffin. Sim-Staci shares a room with Sage & Devane, and Aiden just borrows a bed when he can find one available.

DD sits in the chair with me & likes watching me play-she especially likes it when there are babies/toddlers in the game. And, all my kids were excited to meet the vampire. Took me a few trips of going downtown to find him. My girls especially would come & ask when was I going to look for him, and I'd have to remind them that I had to wait until after dark.

BTW-Sage & Devane are still in cribs. They need to be near their Mom.

And most of the woohooing happens outside in the hot tub. Remember-Aiden's goal is to woohoo with 20 different Sims.

Sim-Staci had a bit of a mid-life crisis. Seems she was not happy being a paranormal, and her dream job was to excel in the culinary field. She has changed careers-who said it couldn't be done? Count Sinjin found a part time night job, but was promoted to a day shift so is going to have to quit...

Avery & Caryl are doing well as teenagers-they have each qualified for a few more college scholarships. They are going to stay in high school for a bit longer, not quite ready to move on just yet. Devane & Sage have both grown into well adjusted children. Devane is a 'gifted child' and learns skills quickly. Sage is not too far behind.

Aiden seems to have a glitch. He was with Trista (visiting sim) in the love tub and now the duo seems to be stuck. I can't make him get out. If I don't figure out a fix, they might starve to death out there.

It doesn't seem to have an expansion pack-just Sims 2 which is a full game. Each EP adds more stuff, layers, etc. to the play.

you are right. that price doesnt include the expansion packs. they fooled me lol
