On the wildcard exemption can you use it towards cash or does it have to be a physical property to exempt ?

wildcard exemption is where you can use a certain amount to exempt anything you want up to that amount.
find the exemptions for your state and see if it exists. that is all you can use.Im not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!

Each state has exemptions. Some allow 'wild card' exemptions that you can use to protect property not covered by other exemptions. Some also allow a portion of unused homestead exemption to be used as a 'wild card'.
