341 last week, last day for objections 2/6??

I am confused with the final date for objections (2/6). I thought it was 60 days after the 341 meeting, however our meeting was changed from 12/5 to 1/19 due to scheduling conflicts. I assume they never updated the original record with the reschedule. So does this mean I joined the less than 60 day club

The 60 day count down "usually" begins the day of or after your 341. The dates that are put in before are "tentative dates".

Was the "2/6 date" entered AFTER you had your 341 meeting?? or before?

I know Pacer has the "days awaiting discharge" and "days awaiting closing" status. We were "over" by 12 days for our 60 day mark before we were discharged.

I may be wrong...but I would ask your lawyer.

The original 341 date was supposed to be on 12/5, which would put the 60 days at 2/6/06 for objections. I guess the objection date was never updated on the record, so I guess I will have to confirm with the lawyer if this date is legit or just a mistake that never got caught at the meeting.

Since it was rescheduled I believe it was never updated, because the 60 days start once you attend your 341 . The law allows the creditors and the trustee 60 days after the 341 to file any objections.

        good luck

she is correct, the creditors get 60 days after the 341 was actually held.

which is wrong and silly because the creditors never show up anyway and nothing happens at those meetings. funny how they didnt speed things up with the new laws so that you only have 60 days from the day of filing to get objections. do they really need more then 20 to 30 days anyways? no. ok so give the bastards 60 to make sure and be done with it. no, they get 30+ days after filing and 60 days after the 341. its absurd.

aint that strange how an obvious problem wasnt solved - guess they arnt looking out for the people like they say they are when they run for office lol. imagine that!
