    almost complete!

    Hi!

First off, Thanks so much for being so helpful on this site it has been a REAL help.. I have filed all by myself and my 341 meeting was 12/8/05... All seems to have gone smoothly.. But now I await the 2/6/06 deadline.. What can I expect as far as hearing from the courts? Does it take a few days after the deadline to find out the conclusion? Any answers are appreciated..

    congrats!

it can take a few days up to many weeks. they are all different.

try getting on pacer and just looking at your case only and check for the 'Date Of Last Filing' to change. thats when you know something happened.

having said that, usually within 7-10 days you get a discharge but again it all depends on how backed up the courts are of if there is a problem with your case.

you wont have to pay a bill until you go over $10.

Im not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!

      registered with pacer

Thanks BK I appreciate the tip I looked at it before but I was confused.. So I should actually look at pacer when my deadline is over is this correct? Do they put their judgement up right away at the deadline on Pacer?

      Thnks again

it can take as much time as they want. its all different. but pacer will have it for you before the attorney would tell you or they mail it so its faster.

10 days or less max is usually the time frame. sometimes right afterwards. up to them.

but if you look at pacer after the day objections are due and you dont see anything then its pretty safe to say you are discharged. if there was a problem then it would have been entered most likely. no guarantees of course.
