Landlord filing Chapter 13
My landlord has informed me that he has just set in motion the the process for his filing of a Chapter 13. He informed us that he will be filing a quit claim to the property that we occupy, yet we have another 5 months left on our lease. Do we have any recourse? Could we pay his mortgage company directly? Will we forfeit our deposit?
