I've looked but can't find the answer on my searches....
When a creditor decides to report the account as IIB can he change the DOFD to the BK date if the actual DOFD occured about 3 years ago with the charge-off accuring over 2 1/2 years ago?
It really sucks that FICO uses EX's date of status to calculate scores--that date of status really makes the account seem like it went bad really recently instead of 3 years ago....:( When this account reported to EX it tanked my score by 58 points(I have rebounded since then :))
