    Discharge papers

Is it necessary or in any way helpful to send a copy of your discharge papers to the CRA's?
    Discharged 2/27/06, closed 6/1/06

Not necessary. I think the trustee or I don't know who, reports it to the CRA's once the BK is discharged.

It's up to the Creditors to correctly report to the CRA's. If you have error on your Credit Reports, you can start with trying to get the Creditor to correct the errors.

If the Creditors won't correct, then DISPUTE the reporting with the CRA's. The CRA's will then contact the Creditors to get the errors corrected. This gives you the advantage of making the Creditors explain themselves to the CRA's.

Tell the CRA's you filed BK only as a last resort to correct the issues.
