You need to call your attorney who filed your bankruptcy, but I'm afraid after this length of time you'll find that your "stuck" with this bill. I hope not for your sake, but I think too much time has passed, and the fact that you didn't list them in your bankrutpcy is totally against you..
Let us know what you find out....

If it was a "no asset case" there is some legal precedent that creditors would not have to be specifically included in the bankrupcty to be discharged. The basic logic is that the reason creditors are notified is in case there are any dispursments. If there were no assets there were no disbursements and so if really doesn't make any difference if they were notified or not.
This doesn't always apply but again there is some precendent to support this.
You can probably do a google seach and pull up more information.
Even if it was a asset case, you still may be able to reopen the case but it starts to get expensive.

gillahoon,
First,
Send that creditor a copy of your discharge where you claimed/filed bankruptcy. They don't need to know that they weren't on the list.............
Be sure to send it certified mail.... Then check your credit report in 30 days or so and see if they have changed their status......
Hopefully that will do the trick.........
And this is not dishonest!!! If nit comes to shove you can reopen your case and add them.....
Try the other first!!!
