    Collections and the Creditor's MAtrix

So I'm filling in my Ch. 7 matrix and I have a question for all of you. I have an American Express bill (amongst many, many others) that a collection agency (Allied Interstate) is attempting to collect. When I list out the names and addresses of creditors, I need to include the collection company also, correct?
What happens to that tradeline on my credit report if I don't list the collection company? Does the Amex bill being discharged (assuming everything goes well) automatically wipe out the associated collection account from Allied Interstate? If I don't list Allied Interstate on my matrix or anywhere else in my BK papers, do I still owe them the money even if the original debt has been discharged?
    Thanks,
    Tom D.

If you have been notified by a Collection Agency you need to list them also on your Matrix..... they have become a creditor. They have purchased the account from Amer Express or collecting on behalf of Amer Express.
Cover all your bases - list them also.

The paralegal working with us on our papers said the attny wants every address we have for each and every Creditor. She said he makes sure a letter gets sent to every address so the Creditors cannot play the "We didn't get properly notified" game.

Any debt that has been turned over to Collections,......... List the Collections addresses too. If you haven't received paperwork from the Collections Companies, ask them on the phone for their address. You can used the guise of "intending" to send a payment, get the address, and then hop off the phone.

Like Minny said, make sure you cover all your bases.

My lawyer said the same thing. Anybody who has ever touched this debt needs to get an invitation to the party.

            Speaking of Creditors Matrix

I plan to list everyone that I can find from collection letters to my credit reports. My question is what format if you know was your creditor matrix saved in - Word, MS-DOS or ASIC text on a floppy? Also did you use a 2 hole punch on the top of your papers?

            Thanks,
