We had to give 2 months of utilities and such to the attny when we were doing our pre filig docs gathering.
Our attny's payment wasn't even included in our bills during discussions.Filed Ch 7 - 09/06

I am not an attorney. My comments are based on personal experience and research. Always consult an attorney in your area to address concerns related to your particular situation.

Part of the bk petition is a disclosure of the attorney fees. The attorney has to state how much they were paid and if they are planning on sharing the money with anybody.
Plus, I don't see any reason why you cannot show them receipts.Chapter 13 Filed 4/03/06  341 Meeting Complete 5/11/06 :yes2:

Not sure about this, unless its in a Chapter 13, and yes it would be an expense..... but allowed on the expense schedule..............????????????????????
Maybe someone else has some input here....Minny

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
