    Hi Everyone

I've been reading for a little while now-thought I'd say hello. Not sure if this is the right place to post an intro?

Anyhow, I filed BK in 98 due to a divorce that left me holding the bag. (While he was a student, all 'our' credit was only in 'my' name.) Being single & paying the rent, etc. didn't leave much room for paying credit cards. I worked 2 jobs at one point, to pay off the IRS but that can only last so long! Anyhow, fast forward a few years and I got remarried, had a couple of kids. Was living the American dream but then hubby got hurt, and wasn't able to work. It was good for the kids to have him at home but not for the bills. So, with lots of medical bills and some other things (credit, collections, etc.) we filed jointly last summer. I'm not proud to be a 2 time filer, and I never thought I'd end up in bankruptcy again but who does?

So now here I am - about 6 months after bankruptcy and I think we're doing well. Hubby is working again, and I think things are going to be ok. I've been working hard to improve our credit, have cleaned it up alot. Hubby's FICO's are 639-653-663, while mine are 619-624-692. I'm not quite sure how I got the 692, other than sheer refusal to give up!

Fico scores are looking great too....

Its hard after bankruptcy to get it back together....lots of work.

Hopefully everything will go well for you from here on out... sounds like you both have been thru the mill.

    Best Wishes,

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
