    Happy day after Easter Monday!

Hope you all had a fabulous Easter weekend!

I found out on Saturday when I went to cash a check that I had $150 in my savings account & negative 17.00 in my checking & I had just put my check from work in on thursday...went shopping, paid most of the bills...that Easter sunday outfit will get ya everytime....oh my god...well, I grabbed the $150 and ran like hell....I have no cash till next thursday, half a tank of gas in the 4runner and eggs, bread & butter in the fridge.......and a water bill due on the 19th....rent must have come through on what I had left in my account...who knows...I have never balanced my checkbook in my life...see what happens......guess I'll be losing that last 15lbs pretty fast...no check till 4/27!

At least we had beautiful weather all weekend & I got a good tan...hope they'll feed me at work!

    Well,
    Hello peanut butter and jelly!!!!

Sounds like you need to balance a checkbook!!! Yeah, it don't take long to spend that money...

Where's your budget??? Get on the stick now and get you one started!!

REMEMBER - First pay the bills, then save a little for a rainy day , and then spend what little you have left - wisely!!

Hope you had a good weekend also.....

When I was writing checks to pay bills, I balanced the check book. After we started the MO's and Cashier's Checks thing, I just track the balance on line on a regular basis. Like DAILY!!

After Hubby got paid last week and I deducted out for rent and propane, that left us $350 to get to the end of the month with a $275 cell phone bill. When I changed phone numbers for the girls and I, Sprint took off our IP and Premium Services blocks so the girls had a gay old time of it. They ran up $140 downloading ringer tones, text messaging, and surfing the net and such. I'm making them pony up with their part. It's their Birthdays and they got money from Gma and Gpa.

The only way I could justify buying a ham for Easter dinner was I knew we'd have meat for meals for several days.

I can't even imagine what life will be like if we, for some reason, don't get a Ch 7. Where in the heck are we gonna find the money for plan payments if there's not enough money now??!!

Easter weekend was great for us, but I am tired today!! I have fibromyalgia and some days it is more of a nuisance than others. We did get a lot done around the house as my husband and I both were off on Good Friday. Yesterday we celebrated Easter at our church and it was wonderful. For me, Easter means hope!!

We have done great with our budget so far and are very strict with it!! We talk daily about every dollar that was spent and are saving every penny we can.

I can tell that my husband is much less stressed these days. He is less grouchy and irritable with the kids and me.
