    Some ?'s about True Credit

Do they notify you immediately when something changes on your credit report? How? In an email, or just on the website?

Not only did I send letters to the Credit Bureaus, but I also sent letters to the creditors that are still reporting false information on my credit reports too, and told them to clear it up or be taken to court. I have the money now to do so, and will.....a nice little chunk of change right before my wedding certainly wouldn't hurt!

    Thanks in advance!

I am asking, because I know the creditors will (hopefully!) look into this a lot sooner than the bureaus.... THANKS!
BUSY running my own credit repair services! Sorry I don't stop in so often any more!

I get alerts, for inquiries and new accounts. I don't think they let you know when just anything (like account details) change though. I pull a new report a couple of times each week to look for changes or updates.
    Discharged Chapter 7 09/05

    Post Bankruptcy Credit:
    Target $200 (12/05)
    Capital One $500 (12/05)
    Hooters Mastercard $2000 (04/06)

    Fico Scores: average of 646

1-Yes, you do get immediate alerts for changes, As long as you have the $14.95 option

2- You will recieve a e-mail alet, and the webite can be updated by you every 24 hours

Threatening credititors with legal action should really be a very last step. Have you disputed all the items through the CRAs? If you start sending letters of legal action before all other resources are expired, you could make it harder to get things removed. If the debt is valid, it's not coming off anyways. In my experience disputing the item is enough to get incorrect information removed. You just have to be patient, and allow the system to work. We didn't get into this position overnight and it will take a little while to get it fixed.
      My credit scores:
Before Filing: Tr 496, Ex 496, Eq 507

      Today: Tr 618 (+122), Ex 601 (+105), Eq 623 (+116)

Umm, no offense, but I have been discharged for a year and a half, and have disputed this stuff numerous times.

This stuff is still being false reported as late, and everything else, so I am confident that it is appropriate at this time to start threatening legal action.

I am well-versed on disputing, as I even run my own company to help other people do it! =)

That's not what I said go back and read my post! I said you need to do it the right way. If you have done all of that that's fine, but I have had no such problems with my own disputes as of yet. That is not what I said at all, please don't put words in my mouth...

All I said was that I have been at this for a year and a half, and I feel now is the appropriate time to start threatening legal action. The debts are not valid, so they should be coming off. I was not trying to put words into your mouth, but to clarify that I have exhausted all other efforts at this point, thus the reason that I signed up for True Credit in the first place.

Sorry if you took that out of context.

tin - do you like True Credit? I had them for a brief period of time but decided not to continue because frankly I dont think TC was very responsive. I athen signed on with Privacy Matters because I wanted to monitor my husband and my credit reports and they were no better. We deleted and added accounts and our score never changed and sometimes neither did the info. I challenged their overall credit scores for us in particular my husband, and they claimed they averaged all 3 credit reporting agencies scores. I dont believe that to begin with and when our scores did budge for months I emailed them twice. They promised to check into it but never responded to me. I cancelled them and gave them an earful why. I have checked my FICO score once and this month I am going to check my husband's score. I got a discount from Myfico.com from creditboards so it wasnt too bad but when you are checking 2 scores it can get expensive. Anyone know a cheaper way?

I haven't even had it a week yet.

Give me a month, and then I'll review it!

From what I can tell, there is no inexpensive way to get FICO's and the scores that are inexpensive aren't worth much anyway!
