    Bankruptcy discharge and case closing

My bankruptcy case discharged in February. I have not yet received a notice the closing has occurred. In checking pacer I found the case is still in a to be closed status.

While I have not heard anything from the trustee indicating there is a problem it seems odd that it has taken this long to close.

When I was at my 341 hearing I noticed the trustee was asking a number of folks to sign a authorization for the trustee to keep their case open until their IRS refund for 2005 was processed. I was not asked anything because at the time had a IRS debt that I thought would not discharge and assumed the trustee would simply let me go because he figured the irs would grab any refund I might have.

Does it look like I may have a problem here or is this somewhat nomal. Perhaps I should simply call.

    Any thoughts?

    thanks

You won't receive a notice that the case is closed.
Since it's closed on Pacer, assume the trustee is done.
