Post 341 and was going to redeem car, but transmission is going bad

I had my 341 Friday, Trustee filed No Distribution Report today.

I was set to redeem my 1994 Ford Taurus for $300, but now I can't the @#$@#$ transmission to shift from 2-3 or from 3-overdrive.

What would you do if you were in my shoes? I was going to redeem it to trade it in, but now I don't know what to do.

The Motion to Redeem is set to be filed by my attorney on Wednesday. Should she try to redeem it for $100. Replacement value of transmission + labor is $1300.

I am mad as @#$@#$ and up the creek without a paddle right now. I can't get to work if the transmission goes down completely.

Sounds like you need to find another vehicle or pay to have that one fixed.....
Let the Trustee know how much it cost for repairs, offer $100.00 and make your decision from there.......

It has no trade in value if you put a $1300 transmission in it......

Personally I would take the $1300 + the $100.00 I was going to offer and buy me another vehicle..........

I think I'll let my attorney attempt to redeem at $100. Get the title, see if I can work a deal with a local mechanic to get it fixed.

But I am going to go ahead and get another vehicle.
