AT&T has sent me to a collection company for a phone i don't have never ordered and they keep sending the bill to an address I am not at. The collection company calls and wants a current address and keeps asking me for information that is none of their business. I have stated to them if this bill is real and an AT&T bill then with the resorces of AT&T they should be able to contact me at the right address because of all the identy theft i refuse to answner any question on the phone. I have stated also to please confirm the debt and send me org. copies of the bill. All they do is call and ask me for information about my BK and current address. Do i have to deal with the collection company, can i contact AT&T give them some condishtion to help them solve this problem that they will not share my information with this collections company or do i just take all of them to small claims for harasement? Part of me just wants to file a claim and drage the backside into court to make them get that it is not ok to do this.
