    Credit Question

I am in the process of disputing items in my credit report, I am currently in a Chapter 13.

I know this should be probably be in the "Rebuilding Credit" thread, but nobody has touched some of those threads since 2004 so I didn't know if I would ever see a response.

Does any have any recent history with the sample letters that are provided to dispute credit items? Are those letters still valid?

Additionally, does anyone know if you can dispute several things in one letter, or do you have to send one letter for each individual dispute you are making?
    Date Filed: 12/19/2004
    341 Meeting: 2/8/2005
    Date Case Confirmed: 7/12/2005
    Closed on Refinance/Chapter 13 Buyout 8/23/06

The rebuilding credit section is where this needs to be posted, and yes it will be seen.......

Under this section is all the form/letters that you need to dispute your credit report....

Most people just "read" this section - few have questions after reading.....

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

IF YOU BUY A 3 IN 1 CREDIT REPORT ONLINE YOU CAN DISPUTE WITH EXPERIAN AND ONE OTHER ONE I CAN'T REMBER WHICH ON THERE SITE. THE THIRD ONE YOU WILL HAVE TO GET A LETTER FOR. EXPERIAN EVEN LETS YOU KEEP CHECKING THE STATUS. IT IS ALSO REALLY EASY BECAUSE IT DIRECTS YOU THROUGH THE WHOLE PROCESS.

THIS ADRESS WILL GET YOU TO THE PLACE I GOT MY 3 IN 1 CREDIT REPORT AND ALSO DISPUTED TWO OF THE COMPANIES. IT IS A COMPANY AFFILIATED WITH EXPERIAN.

Get your free credit report and FICO® Score. Experian is your Big Financial Friend, helping you with credit cards, loans, insurance, and more.

      HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!

You don't have to buy a credit report to dispute things, but they have more time to 'verify' information if you do use a free report. I believe it is 45 days from a free report, or 30 from a purchased one. Don't know why the difference!

I already have all three reports.

My question more or less was:

Are the sample letters in some of the other threads still accurate?
