    Oh My Holy Lord

    I checked my Target account today....

    they have given me a new credit line of $500!!!! I have only had this card about 5 months!!!!!!!

    This is fantastic!!!!! WOOHOO.



    Keep those bills paid on time folks! Good things do happen!

    EDITED to say: Now I can definitely close another low limit card. Bye Bye First Premier.

    Sounds like its all coming together for you right now............ good credit, new cc cards, and a chance to start rebuilding your credit life all again.

        That is soooo cool!

        I just stopped by my bank, BOA...put in an application for a basic charge card...for emergency only...I've banked w/them since '91...had two mortgages and one line of credit through them, prior charge card & a loan on a vehicle....all which have been paid off before my ch.7...hoping to re-establish my credit with them...

          Good luck with that. Maybe because you have been with them so long, they will work withyou!!!

            The officer said the history of business was a strong point, along with everything paid off prior to ch.7...

            Other options, to make it a secured card or partly secured card...fine with me...I just really think it's obviously going to be beneficial to have a card in case of an emergency to use.....

            Check cards don't cut it w/renting cards, travel plans, etc...

            I plan to put it in my safe deposit box after I get it and make a couple of charges......then it's under lock & key...until an emergency!

              tin - they raised mine too. Hubby and I have had their cards about 3 months. He hardly ever uses his($14 balance please....)but I use mine all the time. Paying it off at the end of the month obviously helps....Now I have Juniper, Target, Orchard and Hooters......congrats....
