Today I started thinking that I need a checking account, so I contacted the credit union that I have a savings account at and asked them what do they check in order for you to open a checking out, I was told telecheck and I thought good because I haven't had any problems with them. Good for me too because I just cleaned up my chexsystems problem and had TCF bank deleted so I was free and clear....... or so I thought. I contacted telecheck and I told them I wanted to make sure that I had no negative records with them so to my surprise my old checking account with thousands of dollars owed was listed. I am currently playing phone tag to have this info removed because telecheck would not accept it they said I needed to call the credit union. To everyone please check everything SCAN, TELECHECK, EQUIFAX, TRANSUNION, EXPERIAN everything. I will let you know the outcome. Thoughts?????
