I had better have one sooner than that. All I expect is a card that you can at least use to rent a car or make flight or other reservations while traveling, or a moving van if I want to move. Those are the only things I would really NEED a credit card for. You can't do any of that stuff on a 200-300 card.
Yahooooo. I was approved. Don't know the details as of yet, but they turned me down when I was just discharged so I must be making progress.
I now have a student loan which is current, Hooter's for 1000, Crown Jeweler's which I just paid off and Capitol One. I hope to have a 650+ score across the board in 6 months...that's my goal anyway. Experian might be the only thing that keeps me from reaching that goal.
