    different credit reports

    Hi all:

I have just pulled my credit reports from all three agencies, and they're different. For example, some accounts are reported on Experian, but not on Equifax, etc. As a result, I believe, I have three different scores, and they're not roughly in the same range.

Is this typical? Should I make sure that they all have the same info on me? Any advice?

    Thanks.

It is not unusual for the reports to be different. Creditors do not have to report to all 3 - I think it is kind of like a subscription. I believe the major creditors tend to report to all, but the smaller ones are likely to only go to 1-2.

If there are mistakes, work on correcting them with all. Writing a dispute to one bureau will not notify the others.
