    Anyone own the NOLO book?

Easy question here - for anyone who has the NOLO book for new laws. Do they go line by line so I'll know where to put stuff. We have a pension (cannot collect on until 62), life insurance value, etc., and don't want to buy the book unless they get specific enough to tell me where to put everything. Some things are probably pretty easy but I'm hoping it is a VERY comprehensive book before plunking down the money.

It is very comprehensive and even has examples filled out. Go to the book store or library and take a look yourself. In another post I put up a coupon code that gives you 25% off at nolo.com. Its $25 very well spent.

The coupon code in the sticky is to buy it straight through nolo.com. Do a search on the web for Barnes and Nobles coupon codes if that's where you want to buy it from.

Last time I emailed Nolo, they said that the Chapter 13 books will not be out until the fall. (They're not in this to get the first book out and reap the rewards--they're waiting to see how a lot of the law flushes out before that book goes into print.)

The New BK Law is an excellent book, but it will not take you through filling out the forms line-by-line. I went to half.com (ebay's sister site) and picked up the previous versions of both Ch 7 & Ch 13--(the 7th edition for Ch 13)-- for a couple of bucks (yes, only a dollar or two plus shipping). Comparing the two Ch 7 books, they are extremely similar--to see some changes go to the sticky what trustees are looking for when you are filling out forms.
