Hello Everyone
I had my re-affirmation hearing today and it was painless. The hearing lasted one minute. According to the judge, the whole purpose was that since I filed pro-se (so did the other 3 people there) and without an atty, he said that Congress wanted to make sure that we understood the process. He mentioned that people in the past had been taken advantage of and this was placed into the bk law to protect people. Since nothing changed since I filed, he approved my agreement. He said that we should receive our discharge in the mail within 2-3 weeks. I hope so. I have 7 more days for the last of objections, so I am keeping my fingers crossed, I would really like to re-build my credit and was advised to wait to after the discharge.
