Is this a bad sign?

I just applied for the Capital One Blank Check to refinance our existing auto loan. They sent me an email saying they would let me know within 5 days. Is this normal or a bad sign? I really hope it's not a bad thing! I really really want to get refinanced and if this doesn't work I don't know who else to try. Thanks!

Just an update, incase anyone was wondering. I guess it wasn't too bad of a sign since I got an email today saying we were approved! I don't know what terms we recieved yet, it said we could view them online, but the page wasn't there. Guess I'll have to wait until the actual papers come in the mail.

I'm just so relieved though. Anything has to be better than the 21% we have now!

Just wanted to tell you that they usually deny you right away, they don't beat around the bush but obviously you've already seen that. Good luck with your refinance.

I apply it online and they call me within 15 mintes just to confirm something. Then I got approved....
