*phew* I was so worried going into my meeting this morning. I was third on the list. I got continuously more nervous when the first couple went up and got throughly grilled by the trustee. They didn't have an updated appriasal of their home filed plus some income they filed in their BK case didn't show up on their tax return
. They were not prepared at all and had their case extended for at least a month. I was surprised they were so ill prepared since they did have a lawyer with them.
The second couple was asked to forfeit their home. I felt bad for the wife since she was in tears.
I was sweating bullets when it was my turn. It definately helped to have my laywer next to me. The trustee asked me for proof of identity, and whether I was expecting any kind of inheritance or had my income changed in any way. Four questions! That was it! I was ready to jump for joy right there in the court room! Suffice to say, I feel much releaved and am crossing my fingers to wait until my discharge date of sept. 30.
Thanks goes to everyone on this site that has provided so much support. I couldn't have done it without you!
