OK, we're filing our papers on Monday for am emergency whatever you call it with the final papers in within 15 days. This will prevent the bully bank we have been dealing with getting a judgment - the judge continued our case as long as we get the BK papers in.

Here is a DUMB question - can I sell little items on ebay to get some cash before I file on Monday and not have it be considered transferring property. I'm talking less than $200. If I do this before I actually file, is it a problem. We are going to be a CH 7 no asset case.

Its no big deal either way. Either you claim the propery as yours under your allowable exemptions, or if already sold than you would add the money into your exempted cash on hand, or wildcard exemption.

You know 95% of crimes are solved by the victims own big mouth. Common sense would answer this question. I know a certain person who has some big problems, gambling, maxed out, he was feeding his family by getting free steak patties weekly out the back door from steak & shake. Then someone opened there mouth and the opportunity ceased.

I'm doing the ebay thing, but only accepting money orders right now so I don't have to deal with little paypal deposits into my checking account that I might need to explain later on.
