    Means Test - VA Compensation&Pension

I receive VA Compensation and Pension at the 100% rate for service-connected disability. Is this included in the Means test? I also receive Social Security Disability and have been told that it is not to be included.

You may want to get legal advice on this, but I think it's all income except for Social Security that gets calculated.

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice for all of us.

Here's the means test exclusion form to be used to file Ch 7 if you are a disabled veteran - http://www.uscourts.gov/rules/Revise...B22A101105.pdf . Note the first section "Part I: Exclusion for Disabled Veterans".

Like FAHM says, according to http://bankruptcy-law.freeadvice.com...l_security.htm , Social Security is NOT included as income in the CMI calculations on the means test.

      Hope this helps.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
