should I finance through the dealership? I posted this in another forum but I only got a couple answers. I know this is not the BK forum but I filed BK in 1997, almost 10 years ago! Just wondering which way is best. Opinions appreciated!

All depends on the interest rate. New car rates are currently around 6%. If you can get a lower interest rate from the dealer, than do it. -
If you haven't worked on cleaning up your Credit Reports, I'd suggest you start there. Get all errors corrected before you try to seek any type of financing for a new car from any one.
Also, you might try Capital One Blank Check. Several people here have had rather good luck with them.Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
