    Interogative Deposition??

Quick update. My husband filed the papers 8/2/06. We received notice that our 341 meeting is for 9/11/06,not really happy about the date. I called and left a message for the trustee, after sending the copy of tax returns and paystubs to see if there was anything additional he would need. I received a call today from his receptionist saying that they received the info I sent and that nothing else was needed. I am taking that as real good news. She said that he ask that we be there a little early as there will be a paper, interogative deposition (or something) that he will need us to fill out and give him at the meeting. What is that paper about? I am assuming that it is basically the same info I have already provided in the petition.

Can someone give me some insight on this? thanks so much.

ok, I am starting to get a little nervous about this. I havent been able to find any information on this at all. doesnt seem like this is par for the course. Maybe I am calling it by the wrong name or something. She said to arrive a little early so that I could fill out the form and then I will give it to the trustee during the meeting. What could it be? I could have sworn she said interogative deposition, but then again, I have been wrong before.

I had to sign a form before my 341 meeting basically saying I know what bankruptcy is and that I am aware it will be reported on my credit report for so many years. If it is the same form I had to fill out it is nothing to worry about.

That's a good thing. You know your case will go ok. It's the cocky ones that assume everything will be fine that should really worry.

I am assuming you filed "pro se" , in that case you are lucky that they answered you at all. All looks good as long as you have been very thorogh about the paperwork and forms, dotted the I's and crossed tht T's. Good luck!

Just as a follow up, I was early for my 341, and the trustee was 1 hour and 25 minutes late? Does that mean anything? maybe they want to see you sweat a little! Life will get better for you.
