We filed chapter 7. The deadline for objections is today. For those who have gone through this, how long did it take from the objections deadline until your case was discharged? Thanks.

Usually discharge happens the day after the objections are due....depending on how busy the clerk is. Some may take 3 days to a week.....

the objections deadline is generally 60 days from the date of the 341.
how much time passes from the objections deadline until the actual discharge is quite a variable and depends on the case. in most cases it has been an average of 1 day to 1 month.Comment

My last day of objections was on July 24 and my case was discharged and closed the very next day. For some people they receive the discharge first but then have to wait for it to be closed.
