checked pacer and now I'm confused

    checked pacer and now I'm confused

    Hi,
    I filed on 5/18/2006-341 6/22/2006- last day for objections was 8/21/2006. I check the pacer and it said filed 5/18/2006 and then it said next to it-last day filed 7/27/2006. It also named a judge. I'm very confused and nervous now. What could last day filed mean? Should I have heard something by now? Please let me know. I think I was expecting to see case closed. I wish that I didn't even check it.

    Did you file your Ch 7 with a lawyer? If you did, call his/her office first thing in the morning and ask for an update on your case. And if you didn't file with a lawyer, then you can call the trustee's office and *very* politely ask for an update on your case.

    If someone filed an objection to your case on July 27, you and your lawyer would have received a letter about it long before now. Try not to panic until you KNOW there's a good reason to do so. Hang in there!

      On PACER did you view the Docket Report?

      You should be able to see everything that was filed with and sent from the court.

        I think it means that the last day the courts have heard anything or updated your case was on that day. You should check again, it might be updated with discharged or closed now.
