Can You send an Amended application to pay filing fee in installments??

I am finding my original application to pay filing fee in installments is leaving me short to pay household expenses. Can I send in the same form with the word 'Amended' at the top and reschedule my payments still do the court??
I know you can ask for an 'extension' but I don't know how to do this.Should I call the Court house and ask?

Since you are trying to file pro se......... you need to do some serious reading about how to file pro se....... before you even attempt it......

Call the clerk of courts about your filing fees...... those have to be paid before your petition even goes into effect I believe.....

You don't want to start out getting "dimissed" before you even get it partial filed..............

I didn't have to wait for my waiver to be decided. They denied it the next day and didn't offer an installment plan. Turns out that's how the judges in the Chicago area do it. I qualified for the waiver based on the law but it was still denied.
I filed chapter 7 on 11/30/06 with the waiver. I paid my filing fee on 2/21/07 in full.
