    Tin, you were here?

Tin, you came to Ft. Lauderdale? That's me! Did you go to Sawgrass Mills, if so you passed my house! I'm suicidal! Anyway, can you tell us where you were? What you did? i hope you liked it.

I find it hard to believe that anyone could enjoy it unless honeymooning on the Beach, which i guess you did. I love Ft. lauderdale Beach. Your entire outlook changes after a day there.

Actually, we went to Sawgrass Mills on Tuesday this past week because it was raining all damn week!

So yes, I was there. We stayed at the Vacation Village at Weston. Nice place, but I wouldn't stay at another one.

We actually had a blast down there. We spent Tuesday shopping and then went for sushi dinner at this really great place in Weston.

On Wednesday we went and did an airboat sight seeing tour of the Everglades. This particular place also kept animals there, and had I known the conditions that the animals were kept in, we never would have given them a dime. After that we drove all over Miami and FT Lauderdale trying to find a place to play some mini-golf. That didn't happen.

On Thursday we were forced into attending a timeshare presentation. We were told it was the hotel's evaluation day. Baloney. I basically told them when it came down to it, that if I wanted a timeshare, I'd look on ebay, and then proceeded to tell them everything that I thought was wrong with the room we were already in. They let us go shortly thereafter. As soon as we got out of there we headed down to the Keys, and made it all the way to Key West that night. It was really fun.

On Friday we went to Monkey Jungle in Miami. That was probably the coolest thing that we did while down there. We spent several hours there.

On Saturday we packed everything up, went to Orlando where free Sea World tickets awaited us, spent the day at Sea World and International Drive (I also got to pet a dolphin, which was totally exciting!!) and then drove all through the night back home. It was awesome.

We really had a great trip, but it was by no means restful. As soon as we have time to get those on the computer, I'll post them.

BUSY running my own credit repair services! Sorry I don't stop in so often any more!

My stepmother lives in Weston (Windmill Ranches). Weston is very close to us. Attitudes are so different here that we laugh because we realize that when we leave here we are the jerks. It looks as though we will move some time during the summer, it is going to take awhile to straighten my attitude and that of my co-workers as down here you look at ANY offer of help as though you are going to be screwed and you drive like an imbecile compared to other places, we only have lines on the road so that the cop knows who to give a ticket to!

I know what you mean about rooms and treatment and high pressure sales here. You did good. Sawgrass used to be great, likely we passed one another as that is my second home. The good thing is that we never leave the neighborhood to shop for anything. I used to love this town. The stress of living here the last two years is causing myself and friends and co-workers physical problems now, one fellow at work was arrested last week for pulling his gun in a traffic altercation (they drew first then ran but he took prisoners of the two in the back seat), he has lost a 28 year job and was genuinely a good fellow, this was his first arrest ever, everyone is just tired and we don't want to hear about another storm.

I am glad you had a good time, the Keys are still fun but pricey. Used to go down with friends when i was a teen and stay in the El Rancho Motel in Key West referred to as the "El Rauncho", you couldn't walk around the rooms they were so small, and after a good rain, just fergit it, you were gonna be wet head to foot, no high ground!

The heat makes us crazy down here....

...hey, you're lucky you weren't on the gulf....we have red tide...our papers are lying about it....

When I drive 5 miles over the bridge & back on the island, the smell of dead fish is enough to make you vomit....tourism is not going to be good for the gulf this season..
