Mortgage after chapter 7 and surrendering home....

So I went through a chapter 7 and it was discharged about 2 years now, I surrendered my home in th bankruptcy and its still not foreclosed, on my credit report it reports as included in chapter 7 0 balance, I talked to a mortgage broker with 20 years experiance and she told me that she could get me a mortgage using fha that she has done this before with my same situation, anybody here have any experiance's to share?

She is probably full of crap to be quite honest.

If you still OWN the defaulted home...no chance. It will never get past underwriting.

i really hate when i see this real estate brokers misleading poor people into thinking they can get an fha after 2 years...

(i know that can't be done). but, people without bk can't even get a loan today. banks are closed fisted and until they figure out this mess, money is going to be as dry as cotton mouth after sleeping with a bottle of cheap wiskey...(yuck).
