Statute of limitation on reporting bankruptcy?

I live in California and completed my chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2013. I have been looking everywhere and cannot find the information I need. Is there a statute of limitations on how long a creditor has to report your bankruptcy to the 3 major credit reporting agencies? An old creditor just reported my bankruptcy and closed account information this month, No information about this account was on my report prior to this and I've now taken another 100 point hit to my credit after spending the last 4 years rebuilding it.

Review the FCRA (fair credit reporting act). Creditors can add or delete trade lines but they cannot change the date of default on the credit line. for purposes of this BK it is your filing date, So while they just now reported it, it should have the date of first default as your filing date, so it is immediatley old but still impactful none the less. If they are a legit creditor in your Bk, there isn't much you can do. Hope this helps.
