Do creditors often show up to 341

Hello out there,i'm wondering what the odds are
for a creditor showing up at my bankruptcy?
Most of my debt is over 6 years old on average.

The only people I have seen show up are local credit unions or very small local banks. Typically, they show up with a reaffirmation agreement and/or just want to take a picture of the car (that you may have driven to the meeting).

In all likelihood, no creditor will show (period).

No one showed up for mine or for those of the other 15 cases that were there.
Chapter 7, above median, no asset. Discharged with no UST involvement.

For all practical purposes, they never show up.
It would literally have to be someone with a blood feud against you.
filed chapter 13..confirmed...converted to chapter 7...DISCHARGED!

I had 2 show up at mine, both small banks that held title to real estate. Both attorneys were very pleasant towards me, and all they wanted was relief from the stay in order to get their property back a.s.a.p. My attorney and I had no objections and it was granted.

              No big deal.......

None showed for mine or the 20 or so that were in the room with us. Just lawyers, debtors, and the trustee. One of mine was a local attorney who's office was literally across the street for the courthouse. He didn't show for the 341.

The State Departement of Revenue was the only creditor to show up but they always have a rep on site. They just verified what I owed.

I can add a wrinkle to this topic:

One of the creditors we filed against was American General Finance, now known as Springleaf Financial. AGF did NOT send a representative to our 341 meeting, instead, they sent reaffirmation papers--all filled out except for our signatures--to our TRUSTEE!!!!

He handed them to us at our meeting and said that we needed to discuss the matter with our attorney. We took them straight home, shredded, and burned them.

Thank for the info guys and gals.
My 341 meeting is 2 weeks from Friday so I'm a bit nervous.
But on a lighter note I hope to be debt free peace.

Lets take bets on whether the persistent landlord/creditor will show up at mine...

And you just need to hope that he does. If you have never seen a trustee give a creditor the riot act, you should. It's a hoot.
